Let's get to know IQFantasy's Expert Fantasy Analyst.....
When I was a kid, my dad would quiz me on player stats from the baseball cards I
collected. Jim Palmer, Mike Schmidt, Nolan Ryan, Steve Carlton, Ozzie Smith, Steve
Garvey, Tom Seaver, Rod Carew, Sandy Koufax.... I knew all of their stats. This was a
practice that would stay with me the rest of my life and, well, the rest is history....
I have been involved in fantasy sports since 1983-84. I started playing fantasy
baseball by creating my own league, making up teams, drafting players, keeping stats
and playing by myself. In 1985, I moved to Paradise, CA, hooked-up with some friends
and began to play with them.
I started fantasy football later in the 80's. No matter what type of league (keeper,
auction, etc.) or what sport (MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, NASCAR), I never finished in the
lower third of any league's final standings. This is due to my dedication, research,
preparation and competitive spirit. I am always on top of making the adjustments and
moves necessary to stay competitive.
Today, I am almost exclusively involved in NFL Fantasy Football. In addition to
contributing to this sight, I am secretary for a local fantasy league and also play on
several on-line leagues. I live in Oroville, CA with my wife of 16 years, Tammy, our 3
teenage daughters and our 1-year-old son.
